It was such wonderful stay, I loved great food.
Everyone was very-very nice and welcoming as well as owner. I booked a room with an exceptionally comfortable bed, an electric kettle, a microwave oven, and central heating. The private parking was onsite, EXCELLENT service.

Our stay at Bel View was absolutely wonderful! We stayed for a few days, enjoying the stunning views and comfortable, spacious rooms. The family who runs the guest house were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. They provided delicious meals and gave us great advice on local attractions and activities. Thanks to them, we had an amazing time exploring Lipton's Seat and Horton Plains. We can't recommend Bel View enough for a delightful stay in Haputale!
Would recommend this hotel.

He even picked us up from the train station, a nice touch. He had great knowledge of the area and provided us with valuable recommendations for activities and hikes. We were also impressed by his flexibility and willingness to accommodate our specific needs, such as adjusting breakfast times and even going out late to get snacks for our early trek the next day. we had a pleasant experience staying at this guest house.
There were a couple of minor drawbacks. the toilet was not in great condition, and we felt it could have been cleaner.

The room was spacious and comfortable, providing a great space for relaxation during our romantic escape. The location of the hotel was also perfect, allowing us to easily explore the beautiful surroundings and take in the stunning views. the breakfast provided by the hotel was absolutely delicious, adding a special touch to our mornings.
This took away from the overall comfort of our stay and affected our ability to fully enjoy the room. We also noticed an abundance of creatures in the area due to the hotel's proximity to the hills, which made the surroundings less appealing.

This hotel is conveniently located near the rail station and not far from the city center. Guests can enjoy beautiful views from the seating area at the back of the hotel. the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, plenty of blankets, and a big clothes rack for unpacking. Service is top-notch with a friendly and welcoming owner. the delicious food is served in a large dining room, ideal for socializing with other guests. the hotel offers a van for local attractions, including Lipton's Seat at sunrise.
One aspect of the hotel was disappointing, such as the poor water pressure for showers in some of the rooms.

Bel View Guest House exceeded our expectations in so many ways. the value for money was incredible. The prices were very reasonable considering the attention to detail and the stunning location up on a high mountain. Secondly, the staff and service were exceptional.
